Nike Shoe Company is a distinguished multinational focused on producing, designing, and marketing footwear as well as apparels and other accessories.  The company produces a range of high quality products form men, women, children and sports persons. The Company has numerous branches where productions of similar and related products are manufactured. Some other products that the company deals in include leather balls used in games, open shoes, sandals, hand bags and other wears such as belts (Harvey, 2017). However, Nike Shoe Company majors on production of shoes to its customers which is the widely known product that it pumps to the market. The shoes produced in this company are of high quality and some of the customers’ reports indicate that the products are superb and eye-catching (Bell & Hatfield, 2016).

Production Process

A very long process is involved in the production of goods in this company. First, the industry collects the necessary materials needed in production of shoes such as rubbers and hides for the soles and shoe cover respectively (Miner, 2015). This does not exclude the use of cobbler’s glue and strong threads for sewing. Different stages are involved in the completion of this process. Secondly, the hides are processed in order to have a long foil of the shoe material about the laces (Hatfield, 2017). Thirdly, the hides are lined with soft nylon or cotton materials that are very significant in making shoes soft from the inside (Dojan et al., 2017). The rubbers are used in designing the sole of the shoe and thereafter, these processed materials are assembled and sewn in order to get the final product as shoes. There are different stages that are involved in this production track as explained below:

In the first stage, all materials needed in the whole process such as rubbers for the soles, hide , nylon , glue and sewing thread are gathered (Raysse, 2016). After gathering these materials, the second stage is shaping and processing the hide in order to come up with the covers. The next stage is smoothening and lining using the nylon. In the fourth stage, the sole is taken care of from the rubber and shaped in accordance with the type of shoes to be made. In the fifth stage, the assembly of the sole and hides are done to come up with a complete set of shoes (Pollard et al., 2016). In other stages, there is manufacture of shoes using synthetic materials only without the inclusion of leather.
